Frequently Asked Questions
A quick reference for information you may want to know.
How much is a consultation?
A consultation is $200 unless otherwise agreed upon. This fee covers our time and attention to your legal matter specifically to see how we can best assist you. Consultations can last up to one hour.
Do you have an office where we can meet?
Most of what we do does not require an in-person meeting. Therefore, we mostly work from home. We generally have virtual meetings via Teams or contact you by phone or email. However, if you would like to meet with us in person, we can arrange to come to you and meet you in a mutually agreeable location. There may be travel costs associated with us coming to see you in person.
What area can you provide service to?
This depends on the type of service. We can travel to many locations within central and eastern North Carolina and offer many services virtually.
What do you charge?
This depends on the type of service you need. Some services we can offer for one set price. Other services are on an hourly fee schedule. We can determine this amount after a consultation based on the services that will best fit your needs. The fee for a consultation is $200. (Please note that the consultation fee is earned upon receipt and non-refundable.)
